A Letter to the Urbin's

by Janice Falleti

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Urbin,

I do hope and pray that you won't feel like I am imposing upon
your privacy. After reading the article about your beloved Haley,
I have felt so compelled to send you a note or card letting you
know how very sorry I am. She sounds like such a gifted and
wonderful young woman; so mature for her age. I believe that
God sends us some very special souls - people that change our
lives forever. His ways are not always revealed, however He
does give us peace that surpasses all understanding.

It is my prayer that you, your family and friends will be able to
grieve, but with strength and courage to face each day.

I lost a sister to cancer, we were 15 months apart. She passed
away on Christmas morning - 36 years ago. She was 13.
Everyone who met her was inspired by her spirit of strength,
intelligence and humor.

I hope that this letter has not offended you in any way. Even
though we don't know each other, a part of me feels like
grieving with you. May God Bless you and your family.

Sincerely,
Janice Falleti

(I will continue to remember you in my prayers.)
