My Self Portrait

My foot is like a rubber-band, always bending.
My teeth are like white pearls trapped in a clam.
My eyes are like the blue skies above.
My face is cheerful.
My heart holds happiness that is spread as joy.
I live in a moose and I eat cheese.

Exstadic

Exstadic is lime green like a turtle or a frog.
It makes me feel hyper like when I fall off a couch.
It makes me want to sing.

Sharp Forest

Thistle, prickle, thorn,
Pointed leaves, jagged rocks,
Sharp Forest.

Frightening eyes starring,
Black night, little light,
Sharp Forest.

Burnt smells,
insane paths, no delight,
Sharp Forest.

Aphotic shadows,
Gloomy trees, shaken knees,
Sharp Forest.

Dank puddles,
Muddy shoes, damp air,
Have no clue,
Sharp Forest.

The Curious Poem
By: Haley Urbin

A weird cat peering into another room,
A small child cautiously stepping into a dark shadow,
A man following a loud unpleasant sound,
A frightened lady looking through a window,
And me looking around the corner to see it all.
